ACT Invitation round of 2023 | Canberra invites 734 candidates to apply for ACT nomination

ACT Invitation round on 13 January 2023

Canberra, Australia conducted first ACT (Australian Capital Territory) invitation round of the year 2023 on January 13, 2023.

In this round Canberra, Australia has issued total 734 ITAs (Invitations to Apply) to apply for the nomination of Skilled Nominated Visa Subclass 190 and Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) Visa Subclass 491.

Latest ACT Invitation Round on 13 January

This is the first invitation round of this year. Find below the details of the latest round:

• Small Business Owners: The ACT has issued 14 invitations under this category for the nomination of both the above-mentioned visa categories.
• 457 / 482 visa holders- Just 2 invitations were issued under this category for Subclass 190 visa.
• Critical Skill Occupations– Canberra has issued a total of 274 invitations under this category for both visa categories.

ACT Invitation Round 13 January 2023

• Overseas Applicants (Critical Skill Occupations) – As usual, overseas applicants received the most, i.e. 444 invitations in this round for both the state/territory nominated visa categories. Among the two, Subclass 491 visas received the most, i.e. 357 invitations.

2022-2023 Allocation of ACT Nomination Places:

The ACT received an interim allocation for the 2022-2023 program year.

• Subclass 190 visa: 2,025 places
• Subclass 491 visa: 2,025 places

Application Count @ 13 January 2023

• 190 Nominations: 418 approvals
• 491 Nominations: 885 approvals

The ACT (Australian Capital Territory) every year gets a fixed number of nomination and accordingly issue the ITAs every month. The top ranked Matrix in each occupation get invitation to apply for ACT nomination.
