Canberra issues Nomination invitation to 178 Candidates in latest ACT invitation round

Latest ACT (Australian Capital Territory) invitation round held on 29 April 2022. In this round, Canberra, Australia has issued 178 ITAs (Invitations to Apply) for state nomination. • Small Business Owners: The small business owners received 5 ITAs (Invitations to Apply) in this latest round for Subclass 190 and 491 visa.
• 457 / 482 visa holders- Just 1 invitation issued under this category for the nomination of Subclass 190 Visa.
• Critical Skill Occupations – Canberra invited 94 candidates under Critical Skills Occupation category to apply state nomination For Subclass 190 and Subclass 491 visa.

• Overseas Applicants (Critical Skill Occupations) – The Overseas applicants received total 79 invitations in this round, as Subclass 491 visa received most, i.e. 71 ITAs (Invitations to Apply).

• ACT 491 nomination: 1175 approvals  
• ACT 190 nomination: 497 approvals 

The allocations remaining for this program year are 328 nomination places (164 per month).
